SmithTool extends to each customer a 90-day warranty on all body castings and 30-days on all replacement parts. SmithTool specialized hand tools are warranted against breakage accordingly from date or purchase.

Special Warranty Information

Used and Damaged Parts: SmithTool disclaims any liability for product defect claims that show evidence of being used or installed contrary to manufacturer’s instructions, misapplication or improper product handling and/or packaging during return shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund, or warranty consideration. The cost for return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. SmithTool has the right to refuse packages that are not prepaid prior to return shipping.

SmithTool Limited Warranty

SmithTool shall not be liable for any damages caused to products or replacement parts in whole or in part from acts of god, severe weather conditions or any other cause or circumstances beyond the control of SmithTool in the conduct of normal business procedures. Repairing mechanical equipment can be dangerous. SmithTool expects their customers to exercise good judgement as to the proper selection, installation, use and maintenance of any part. SmithTool assumes no responsibility for damage or injury of any kind because of the misuse or improper application of any part in any way by any person. SmithTool shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages whatsoever. All products manufactured by Smithtool are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship only. Final decision will be made in a just an prompt manner.

Shipping Options

Items purchased from our distributors must be returned directly to the store. SmithTool will only accept returns purchased directly from our website. A copy of the transaction must accompany the request for return. SmithTool will not accept the return of products or replacement parts that conform to the Limited Warranty (listed above under Sales Policy). SmithTool extends to each customer a 90-day warranty on all body castings and 30-days on all replacement parts. Returns must be made within 90 days from date of invoice. A copy of the invoice must accompany all returns. Shipping fees are not refundable. All returns must be in re-sellable condition. Defective parts or parts sent to you in error will be exchanged or refunded in full. Returns after the 90-day return period will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

How to Return an Order

• Package the returned items properly. When shipping merchandise back to us, please wrap the part(s), place in a sturdy box and secure with tape. Do not leave the part(s) loose in the package. Parts scratched or damaged in return shipping due to inadequate packaging will not be accepted.
• Include a copy of the invoice. Tools without an invoice will not be accepted.
• All returns must be sent prepaid. No collect shipments will be accepted.
• Insure the returned part for its full value to protect yourself against loss.
